ORPA wishes to thank the Canton McKinley Rifle and Pistol Club and Fairfield Sportsman’s Association for the use of its facilities and range personnel. 

Firing Time: 9:00 a.m. One relay, 85 firing points. 

Rules: Current CMP rules shall govern 

Condition: Open to any individual. Ohio residents do not have to be a member of the Ohio Rifle and  Pistol Association. ORPA members will receive a discount in fees. Please present membership card. Residents of other states may present their home state Association card in lieu of joining ORPA. ORPA membership may be paid at the registration desk. Additionally, you do not need to be a member of a CMP affiliated club to participate. 

Description: The Ohio Service Pistol State Championship will be run in accordance with the National Service Pistol Aggregate (CMP rule 7.7) 

The National Service Pistol Aggregate is a 1000-point aggregate consisting of individual scores fired in the 40-shot President’s Match Course, the 30-shot National Trophy Match Course. 

The Championship will be used to assist in determining the individual members of the ORPA Service  Pistol Team for the National Matches at Camp Perry (CMP NTT). 

Additionally, due to increased demand we will have a .22 EIC and Service Revolver Matchs at the end of the Service Pistol State Championship.

Entries: Fees may be paid by check or cash

Registration Fees: $65 for the “Works “ 

• Host Range Fee: $20.00 

• 1000 Point (100 shot) Service Pistol State Championship: $30.00 (Includes fee for EIC Match (match  9-12)) 

.22 EIC, Service revolver Match: $15.00 each 

Awards: The CMP will provide State Championship Medallion to the first, second, and third places of the CMP-Sanctioned State Championship. 

Match Conditions: Competitors will pass their score cards to the right and score the target to their left.  Competitors will be required to change their own targets. Use of the plug-type scoring gauge will be restricted to range personnel. A challenge fee of $1.00 will be charged for each challenge made. Scorers  and competitors will sign and turn in their score cards at the end of each caliber match. Competitors are required to check all mathematical sums for errors on their score cards before submitting to statistician. If any errors are found, competitor shall notify statistician.
