| Fairfield Sportsmen's Association was founded in 1967. It was started by 88 people looking for a place to shoot and has grown to 2,700 members in all disciplines of shooting. The original range was just a few acres on Lick Road in Fairfield, used by permission from the owners that lived in front. Later, the club was allowed to use the old Navy Armory Building in Hamilton as an indoor range. In 1968, the club started looking for a new home and came upon the current location along the Great Miami River upstream from New Baltimore. Since 1968, this plot of land has turned into an 80 acre shooting complex with world class facilities for Trap, Skeet, Pistol, Rifle and Archery. |
